    Installation - Can't create Admin-ACC

I installed the Freeware Version on a Linux RedHat 6.2 Machine...

Everything worked well. I created a database (freewareforum) with phpmyadmin.
    install.php didn't report any errors.

Install.php asks me to enter several information about the forum. (First real form)
The Manual says, that a admin-acc-form comes up after this info- question-form.
Suddenly install.php asks me to enter a admin password.

But I DIDN'TCRETE THE ADMIN ACC YET.

The mysql-user-passwd doesn't - none of the passwords for the server works.

I've never run vBLite but I believe there's a default admin username and password in the documentation. Look through the installation instuctions.

      It's in the config.php ... hmmpf

Of course there is a default passwd.
I searched, searched and found it.

It's really too simple as if it had been shown in the documentation.

      The config.php contains the string:
      $bbpasssword="for4welleseley"; (or similar; default)

That's the standard-passwd. It's the same in every vbulletin lite, but in most cases the konfiguratoring-admin changes it.

It's really funny, because the documentation doesn't even think of a person, who's too stupid to read the last line.

      :p

config.php is the same file, that contains the information to enter the mySQL -Server...

SO: THE STANDARD-PASSWORD IS IN THE CONFIG.PHP AND IF YOU DON'T CHANGE IT YOU'LL NEVER GUESS IT.
