Hide search results for one forum but give access to all usergroups?

Is there a way to exclude certain forums from listing search results while at the same time allowing everyone to view that forum if they click on it?

    Thanks!

You can stop a forum from being indexed in search by going to the Forum Manager > find forum to Edit > Index New Posts in Search Engine > No That will stop future posts in that forum from being indexed. If you want to stop previous posts from being indexed, you'll need to rebuild the search index in Maintenance > Update Counters

If I post CSS and you don't know where it goes, throw it into the additional.css template.

Thanks for the reply. I should have been clearer in my original post.

I meant is there a way to exclude certain forums from showing up in the "New Posts" listings when someone clicks on that?

I did what you said above and it looks like the results still show up after clicking "New Posts".

      Thanks!
