the fix suggested in that topic was to upgrade to the newest version, which would be 3.8.5.
This would fix the issue, right? like, absolutely?
Now, here's another problem. You're supposed to close the forum while you do upgrades. you can't do it when the site is like that. you cant do anything.
I'm not in a position where I can roll back the php upgrade either.
So. help. do I upgrade anyways, not being able to close the forum? if not, what DO I do?
