    Favicon changed on its own

My favicon has changed to some red box with the letters BF in it. (Mine is pink with diff letters)

I have done all the steps in all the posts regarding the favicon and its not fixing it. When I check the url to it, its showing the correct one on the page but still in the address bar is the wrong one.

    Any suggestion please?

I also have seen where several peoples have changed on their own and no one has explained why this happens.

I see the correct one on your forum. Have you tried deleting your cache?

      I believe it's a bug in IE.

I agree, I have seen that happen all the time with IE. Not only the vBulletin favicons, but all my favicons for all my links get changed.

If you're using Internet Explorer, this is a long known bug in the browser itself. You need to delete your temporary internet files cache and restart your computer. Reloading your page should fix the issue. However IE has a bad habit of overflowing the space allotted for temporary internet files and the issue could reoccur.
