Down grade from 3.8.1 to 3.7.3

Can we down grade the forums to 3.7.3. I'm currently using 3.8.1 and my site is down almost every week. Before I was using 3.7 without any problems.

    Thanks.

You can go back to 3.7.3 by restoring a backup database that is from 3.7.3.

Have you tried to figure out if perhaps the problem is a modification that doesn't work with 3.8? Maybe it is a matter of just turning off a mod or upgrading the mod to a 3.8 one.

If I post CSS and you don't know where it goes, throw it into the additional.css template.

You cannot downgrade, as lynne has said you only restore a backup.

When you say its down, what exactly do you mean? Database errors? Etc?

I don't know what happen, it began to slow the site and then the server got frozen, the whole sites down. Once I disable the forums folder, everything back to normal and my other sites running just like normal. I believe someone is attacking my forums site. Any idea on how to block it?
