Similar Threads

The option for Similar Threads says something like "May cause performance issues" ... Meaning more server load.

After a thread is posted and similar threads are attached to it, it stores that information in a table right? There isn't a Similar Threads search for every time a thread is loaded is there?

Correct. The increased load is only for the initial post.
