images in rss

I've been trying to crack this nut by myself for a while to no avail; hopefully I'm just doing something wrong. Cliffnotes are I can't get seem to make an image work, when making posts via the rss feed manager.

1) I've got an rss feed:

http://urbando.com/index.php/component/mmsblog/user/2?format=feed&type=rss

2) For testing, I put the image url as the title of each item:

<title>http://urbando.com/images/mmsblog/00014_00013.jpg</title> 

3) I got into the feedmanager, and put this in for my template:

[img]{feed:title}[/img] 

4) I get a link in the resulting preview (and in the actual post), rather than an image as I'm trying to do.

Am I just crazy?

What code is being output when the feed is posted? Edit the forum post and look at the markup code in the post to see what is happening.

I have never seen a feed used like this. Normally if the feed contains images via HTML code then you can use the Convert HTML to BB Code option in the feed and it will convert those images to use IMG tags.
