How can I do to upgrade from 3.6.8 to 3.7.4

I am a newbie. Can you help me?

I have a database of version 3.6.8. After I buy a license in 3.7.4. Please help me to upgrade (I set up the old version 3.6.8 on my web because I want to restore my database).

run the upgrade script from /install/ dir

After you download the new version, you upload the files, except config.php found in the /includes folder, that are in the "upload" folder to your website, usually to a /forum folder.

Then you edit the config.php file to contain the correct information for your information for your details, upload the edited config.php file back to your /forum/includes folder and then you upgrade by running:

http://yourwebsitename/yourforumname...ll/upgrade.php and it will will take you through the steps from 3.6.8 to 3.7.4PL1.

Editing your config file correctly is really the only thing you need to change!
