Switching VPS server

I'm changing servers. I've taken a complete .gz backup of my site. I also did a full backup of my public_html file which has everything. My site is completely designed around vbulletin.

Is there anything else I need to do for backup? The .gz backup takes a complete picture of my server and copied it to my hard drive.

Are you sure it makes a backup of the databases?
