giving moderators the right to apply infractions.

I have two moderators groups. One is the default "moderators". I wanted the mods in the second group to be able to use infraction in their forums.

Infractions is not an option in the moderator setting screen.

If I set infraction on at the group level they can see it in all forums.

Where is the right spot to set this?

Infractions are not in the modcp they're a frontend function and the permission is controled via the usergroup setting.

AdminCP > Usergroups > Usergroup Manager > Edit The usergroup > User Infraction Permissions

I know where that setting is.

If I set that on for my second mod group they have the ability forum wide not just in their forum. Is their a way to give them this ability but only for their forum?

THe regular mod group says can only give infraction in their forums.

This is a global permission, its not possible to restrict the infractions to only their forums.

          Bummer.

You might want to consider that as an option for the next release.

You should make a suggestion about it in the suggestion forums.
