ad over banner image

I have a long horizontal image for the banner on my site. I would like to put an advertisement over it on the right site. Is there a quick way to do that?

I tried putting the code in the ad_header_logo template, but the ad ends up beside the banner, not on top of it.

Can someone suggest something please.

Layering the banner on top of the image will require custom HTML code in the header template:

Admin CP -> Styles & Templates -> Style Manager -> Common Templates (in the menu) -> header

Editing this template requires some HTML ability on your part.
