    Access with 250 posts

I have a market section which i only want viewable if you have been registered for a certain amount of time and got a certain amount of posts.

Under Forum Permissions, i can't see anything of this sort.

    Any ideas?

Set the forum permissions for the default usergroup that should not have *posting/viewing* access to this forum to just that.

Make a new usergroup called 'marketplace access' based on the default usergroup

Now go to the forum permissions for that forum, and set the values to yes for this new usergroup so they have the proper permissions.

And finally set up a promotion tool, for the default usergroup, based on 250 posts, to upgrade to the additional usergroup.

Every hour it will scan which users qualify.

I want admins and mods to see the forum, i don't want guests to see it full stop or users awaiting confirmation or coppaa etc...

so it's just the registered users. so set them so they cant view and post?

So go to the forum permissions like I said, and set admins to can view, can post, etc
Set guests to can view: no, can post: no.
        etc.
And the default usergroup with x posts to upgrade.
