Much Help Needed

Okay, I am trying to figure out how to make a forum public and private. Here is what I am wanting exactly. I want my staff applications forum, publicly open, but the threads made completely private and can be read by the thread creator, and usergroups selected by me.


Also I would like to have a posting layout shown when you make a new thread in that forum. So when a user wants to apply for staff, when they click new thread, a posting format is all ready applied.

Set this to No to make it so those users can only see their own threads in the specified forum:

Admin CP -> Forums & Moderators -> Forum Permissions -> [Edit] -> Can View Others' Threads

There is no option to fill in a default post in a specific forum.
