In the Admin control panel> Vbulletin Options >panel >spam management

Where are these keys?

It saysEnter a vBulletin Anti-Spam service key to enable scanning of user data where supported.

When a post is submitted vBulletin will send it to Akismet for scanning if you have an Akisment key entered. Akismet sends back a message stating that it is spam or ham. Spam gets moderated. Ham gets posted.
