how to mass email?

hello i have a list of email adresses how do i email them all at the same time.

Do you mean from within your forums, cause you could simply paste the addresses into your e-mail send to box of your current e-mail provider

If you wanna do it through the forums, then:-
Goto your admin panel -> users -> send email to users
This restricts it to user groups and not specific addresses

No that i'm aware of, you'd have to click on each username and send via the forum route.
I stand by what i say though, if the forum belongs to you, then simply paste the e-mail addresses in the send to box of your ISP mail service and make sure you send "from" your forum e-mail address

under users it says generate mailing list then you can add emails, does this somehow email to those people also?

Generate Mailing List allows you to create a mailing list based on the conditions you specify. You can then simply copy that mailing list and send an e-mail to those addresses via an EXTERNAL e-mail program (such as your Yahoo! Account, Gmail account, AOL account, etc. - Not vBulletin.

Going to Users -> Send e-mail will send an actual e-mail out to the users you specify.

I'm interested in using this feature but see that the composition box has no features, is it text only? Is there any way to send an e-mail to all users with all the embedded features a forum message has? (links, boldface, etc.)
