The Service is unavailable - Please Assist

Greetings,

This is the first ever real problem I've had using vbulletin and I'm not 100% sure but it may be a server configuration issue.

I'm running Windows Server 2008, the latest version of vbulletin and Plesk Control Panel.

Everything inside the control panel and on the website works EXCEPT for updating Usergroup permissions via usergroup.php?do=update

I cant change any of the settings for any usergroup via the control panel system. Every time I try to save settings inside the usergroup settings I get The service is unavailable. error in blank white page.

I have tried changing to different versions of php to no avail.

Any help or suggestions is welcomed.

P.S. Please keep in mind that every other function on the site works 100% fine.

Definitely sounds like a server issue. Enable phpinfo in the Admin CP, then provide the URL to your forums. This may help us troubleshoot this problem.

Admin CP -> vBulletin Options -> Server Settings and Optimization Options -> Public phpinfo() Display Enabled

Offhand I don't see anything that sticks out as a possible cause of this. It is possible that this is related to IonCube and vBSEO. Try removing or disabling all plugins (including the .htaccess changes made by vBSEO) to see if you still have this problem.

Thanks for the suggestions, I removed Ioncube, disabled plugins globally, removed all htaccess rules and tried updating the usergroup Administrators again, and have the same error.

I am at a loss as what to do.

I'll install a test vbulletin install and see if it has the same issue.

Any other recommendations or things to try would be appreciated.

I have no other ideas. The next step is to contact your host. This is a server issue, not a vB one.

OK now I am having this problem as well.

Windows Server 2008, Latest PHP and vBulletin 3.8.0

Everything seams to be working and then I am trying to delete a thread and I get the same message.

I don't think this is a server issue. More like something vb and php is doing possibly..

But someone must have an idea..
