Disable username tagging

Hi,

I want to disable username tagging in my forum. Some of the users in my forum always tag their usernames in new threads. I want to disable or ban username tagging, but I don't know how to do. I know "Thread Tag Banned Words" section in vBulletin Options, but there are lots of users in my forum. How can I disable or ban the username tagging easily?

Sorry, there is no function to do this. This requires modifying the code. We cannot officially support code modifications or forums running modified code, however you can try searching or asking for help with this over at www.vbulletin.org.

Personally I would use infractions to warn these peolle, then ban them if they ignored it.
