I am having the same problem as listed in this old thread:
Here's the rundown:
1. My site was created 5 years ago, and was an import from YaBB.
2. Since the beginning, I have had the following setting set to 0 (zero):
Floodcheck - Minimum Time Between Messages.
3. I have recently been getting more PM spam, so I decided to change the 0 to 60 to make it harder for spammers on my site.
4. After making that change, users are complaining that they are receiving the error message:
This forum requires that you wait 60 seconds between sending private messages. Please try again in 3080880049 seconds."
After reviewing the old thread, Zach suggested that he had a PM entry that's way past the current date. I am assuming that it's a result of the original YaBB import, but it didn't impact me until I change the Floodcheck setting.
My question is - how can I identify the corrupt data and get rid of it? For the time being, I've turned off Floodcheck, but obviously it leaves me vulnerable to PM spam.
Any suggestions would be appreciated. Thanks!
