deleting all threads/posts from 2007 onwards

I need to delete all threads/posts created from the start of 2007 to present date, how do I do this? Ive been looking in prune threads but cannot find an option.

There is no such option.

Curious why you would want to do this? Normally you want to delete from a certain date and older threads.

Because ive left the forum for over a year with no moderation and I have around 30,000+ spam posts through 2007-2008

What you could do is create two scripts, the first one Opens all threads that have been Closed. The second script Closes all threads newer then Jan 1st 2007. Then use the Prune function to delete all the Closed threads.

Backup your database before doing this!

AdminCP > Threads & Posts > Prune

In the box Original post date is at most X days ago enter the number of days that you want to have pruned. 1 year is 365 days.

Select All Forums from the first forum option and click the first prune threads button.
