I have another question. I just noticed in my admin cp home that for MySQL version it says "5.0.44-log". I don't remember it saying "-log" before (I had my server update my PHP and SQL last night). Is this normal? Might this have anything to do with my server timeouts every time I try to run a backup? Thanks.

The -log is normal. Mine shows "4.1.22-standard-log". I've had several different hosts and all installations had that listed. As far as your backup issues here's some info, a copy & paste from a post by Steve Machol regarding similar backup issues.
C&P:
The only reliable method of backing up and restoring a database is with shell access via telnet or ssh. This is because backing up with a PHP script like that in the Admin CP or phpMyAdmin can result in PHP timeouts errors and an incomplete backup file. Please see the instructions here:
Backup:
http://www.vbulletin.com/docs/html/m...nce_ssh_backup
Restore:
http://www.vbulletin.com/docs/html/m...ce_ssh_restore
P.S. If you do not have telnet or SSH access, some people have reported success with these scripts:
MySQLDumper:
MySQLHotxcopy:
http://www.vbulletin.com/forum/showt...t=mysqlhotcopy
Bigdump (restore only):

Again, credit goes to Steve Machol for this information.
Also, I personally have used mysqldumper with great success. -
Thank you.
I know I have the ability to telnet on my site, I just forget how to do it. I can look it up.Comment
