(FIXED) How to change notices and messages to users?

EDIT: Please ignore - I found it eventually

I would like to change some of the messages and notices presented to users, such as the terms and conditions presented to users on registration, the email they receive and the message they see when they activate/confirm their subscription.

Would someone be kind enough to point me in the right direction.
