Rep Power and Reputation

Hi,

What is the difference between the Rep Power and Reputation

I have users on my forum with a rep power of 6 and 2 green bars but another user has a rep power of 14 but only 1 green bar

What is the difference between the 2

Is power when they give reputation and the wee bars are when they are given it?

Rep Power is the number of points you give.

Reputation is the number of points you have.
