    MySQL version for vb3.7

I have been running vb3.5.1 OK using MySQL 4.0.27 on a shared server.
Upgrading to vb3.7 the server has access to PHP5, but not to MSQL 5.0.51 as called for by the vb3.7 install notes.

Will vb3.7 run OK using MySQL4.0.27 or do I have to go to a new ISP who offers MSQL 5.0.51 or later? Or, even worse, pay for a dedicated server at my current ISP?

It will run fine. However MySQL 4.0 is End of Life for quite some time now ... maybe that's something worth telling your ISP
