To post Quick reply - issue with clicking button everytime

Hi Friends,
I have been trying to search a solution for this problem since last one hour:
"Please click one of the Quick Reply icons in the posts above to activate Quick Reply"

My site users are complaining about it and in my research i found all the other sites are also experiencing this issue with their users.

I know we have this for "Threaded/Hybrid" modes but is there anyway to default it to one model.Say, I do not want hybrid mode, so is there anyway i can default it to "Threaded" mode and users can directly post quick replies without having to click that annoying "quick reply" icon everytime...

The only other solution i see is to disable this feature...so please help.

Clicking to activate Quick Reply is set here:
vboptions > Message Posting and Editing Options > Quick Reply > Yes, Click Not Required (instead of Yes, Click Required)
