Hi!
About a year or 2/3 ago, we made a copy of our forum and froze it. Then the other forum had removed all it's old posts, and continued.
So basically I got 2 identical forums, at a certain point in time (02-05-2007): same members, same forums.
Since then, the real forums gained a lot of posts, members and a bunch of subforums.
Now we would like to add the old forum back to the newer (current) forum. I was thinking to use Impex for this job. What would be points of attention? How would Impex cope with the vast amount of double forums and users? And maybe even some double posts?
Old: 3.5.4
New: 3.6.4
Please advice.
