    Registration Date

    Hi, (sorry, i don't speak english, i'm spanish)

    Users who have registered today the date of registration is wrong: 2009 instead of 2008.

    If you look into your Profile the date of registration is correct.

    This problem has occurred today, the days before it is correct.
    Why is it?

    I suspect this is due to a modification, possibly your custom language pack.

    To troubleshoot this, first reupload all the original vB non-image files (except install.php). Make sure you upload these in ASCII format and overwrite the ones on the server. Also be sure to upload the admincp files to whichever directory you have set in your config.php file. Then run 'Suspect File Versions' in Diagnostics to make sure you have all the original files for your version and that none show 'File does not contain expected contents':

    Admin CP -> Maintenance -> Diagnostics -> Suspect File Versions

    [Note: In some cases you may also need to remove any of the listed .xml files in the includes/xml directory.]

    Next, disable all plugins.

    Note: To temporarily disable the plugin system, edit config.php and add this line right under <?php

    define('DISABLE_HOOKS', true);

    Then if you still have this problem, create a new style and choose no parent style. This will force it to use the default templates. Finally empty your browser cache, close all browser windows then try again. Make sure you change to the new style and view your forums with it.

    Do you have the same problem? If so, try the default English language pack to see if you have the same problem.

      But if I have not changed anything in months... Why this problem occurs now? The days before it was correct.

      Could be resolved when it arrives in January?

        I don't know why it occurred now. I do know that this is something that does not happen with the default vB code which is why I gave those troubleshooting steps.

          Thank you, Steve.

          I have changed the language to English and the Registration date appear correctly, but my forum is spanish...

          I have in my Spanish Language this "Registration Date Format Override":

          %b %G

          Any suggestion to change it?

            HELP OF ADMINISTRATION PANEL:

            "This setting will override the registration date format that is specified in your vBulletin options, here. Leave blank to use the format that is set in your vBulletin options.

            Consult this page for a list of time variables. You can use these variables in combination with other characters to define a format. See the "Date Format Override" and "Time Format Override" settings above for examples."

              Just empty that setting to use the defaults.

                Thank you very much, Steve.

                I have changed the format and it's OK:

                %b %G ------> %b %Y
