Hello,
My board has reached such a size (6 mill posts), that changing a user's username (identity concerns, etc), hangs the board for over 5 minutes. After changing the first username, if I right away do a second change, it only takes 20 seconds or so (is something being cached in mysql??)
Anywho, I know that for other issues like IP searching, you recommended adding an index to a certain table, that made IP searching feasible again. Is there a similar index I can add, so that the whole board isn't locked for 5+ minutes for a username change?
