mySQL Errors Nightly

Every night at around 1:00 AM I get the following errors:

mysql_connect() [<a href='function.mysql-connect'>function.mysql-connect</a>]: Can't
connect to local MySQL server through socket '/var/lib/mysql/mysql.sock' (2)
/home/site/public_html/includes/class_core.php on line 274.

Any ideas for troubleshooting?

Assuming the db info in your config.php file is correct, this is a server issue. Please see this page for the causes of this error:
