Disabling User Post Count and how it affects the Forum Post Count

    Hello everyone,

Recently we've reached the conclusion that we need to disable user post counting in certain sections of the forum, due to the amount of off-topic.

We know how to do it (Admin CP > Forums & Moderators > Forum Manger > Edit Forum GO button > Enable/Disable Features > Count Posts Made in this Forum Towards User Post Counts > NO) but the question is how will this affect the total number of posts in the forum statistics page?

Will the posts from the above mentioned sections still be counted for the total number of forum posts and just ignored for the user post count, or will they be ignored altogether?

It just does not add to total users count, as that is what it refers to. Forum statistic will still count any post made in forums that you have disable counts towards users.

Count posts made in this forum towards user post counts
If this is set to No, posts made in this forum will not be added to users' post counts (which are displayed on showthread).

Count posts made in this forum towards user post counts
      Thanks for the clarification.
