Problem with Quick Reply

When one of my users uses Quick Reply, instead of simply posting in the default font colour and style, it posts in black and shows a font tag.

    So instead of showing:

This is the content of the post

    you see:

This is the content of the post

And as the forum has a black background you don't actually see the writing unless you highlight it.

    What is wrong?

    Thanks

If you view your site using the default vbulletin style, does this still occur? Have you tried disabling your plugins to see if this still occurs?

Please don't PM or VM me for support - I only help out in the threads.

If I post CSS and you don't know where it goes, throw it into the additional.css template.

Yes it's the default skin and yes it still occurs.

Is he copying the content from a word document or from something else or typing it completely himself?

          It was Word.

          Thanks.

That is why. I have seen other threads about how copying from Word will add html to the post, so you need to copy it to a text editor (notepad?) and then copy it to the post.
