vBulletin Member Registration routine?

This should be a simple question.

When a new member registers, which vB tables are populated with data? Is it just user and userfield?

The reason I ask is that I am building a new registration page and want to ensure that I insert the data in the proper places.

You should use the user datamanager to have vBulletin create its records properly. There is an article on this at vBulletin.org where you can receive support. The article is called "Creating new users automatically". It contains some sample code that should help you get started.
