Allow users to change their date of birth

I have been looking how to do it around this forum and fortunately I have found a few threads that covers this issue however there are no any public 'solution' to it

I have enabled the Can Edit Own Profile option and also my Require Birthday is set to 'Yes'.

I want to give my users the ability to change their birth date at any time. How I can do it?

In my forum when a user tries to change their date of birth the forum tells that they need to contact to the Administrator to do so but here at vBulletin.com and in vBulletin.org I see that we can change our date of birth without any restriction so it means that it's possible but... how?

Check this setting:

Admin CP -> vBulletin Options -> User Profile Options -> Require Date of Birth

If the birthday it required then it is on the registration form, after which it does not allow you to change it. Otherwise it is strictly optional and does not show on the registration form.

I have changed it to No and now users can edit their date of birth.
