Same Question - vBulletin 3.6.8 patch 2
I'm in the same boat as toddchris - I am using vBulletin 3.6.8 patch 2, and Hostgator is telling us that they are about to update to PHP5 and take MySQL from version 4.1 to 5.0.
Will there be any problems with my forum when this upgrade happens? If so - what can we do to overcome those problems exactly?
Thanks!

I, too, have the option to migrate to PHP5 and mysql5. I, too, am running patch2 of latest version.
Sure would like to know if vBulletin is going to migrate successfully without any problems.
Does anyone know if patch2, or 3.7, will run successfully on PHP5 and mysql5?Comment

I've been running my site with php5 and mysql5 since I was running 3.0.12, so you guys should be fine with the move. The only problems you may have are with some custom plugins. Array_merge comes to mind as causing some problems and then there is something with mysql joins (putting parenthesis around them). I can't remember exactly what it was. But, both of those were things I ran into because of my own custom coding on the site, not because of the vbulletin software.
Please don't PM or VM me for support - I only help out in the threads.
