Increase in Registration Bots since move to new server

I recently moved our site www.bromsgroverovers.org.uk to a new server and at the same time upgraded from 3.6.8 to 3.6.8 Patch Level 2.

We are now getting a previously solved problem of Registration Bots. None are posting. I'm sure I have followed all the guidelines as before and have checked with the new ISP that php was compiled with the font extension (or whatever it is called).

    Any thoughts?

Make sure the image library is working:

Admin CP -> vBulletin Options -> Image Settings

You will know that it's working if the sample image loads successfully on that page.

This thread has other tips for preventing spam:

      Hi Jake

That's the thread that I've used as a guide.

Upon closer inspection I'm not sure if the fonts being displayed do not appear to be truetype. They have jagged edges!

I'll get back to my ISP

My isp are saying that nobody else is having problems with their vBulletin image verification. They gave me the address of their forum and I can see it is fine.

However, I can confirm that the truetype fonts aren't working so any thoughts? Do I need to re-install something>

Make sure the GD truetype option is selected in the settings:

Admin CP -> vBulletin Options -> Image Settings

There are options for simple and truetype.

            It is!

But after saving, the picture doesn't look any different from the simple font

Maybe you are missing the associated files. Try reuploading the original images/regimage folder from the zip file.

                Bingo!!

Well all the files were there but I uploaded them again and all seems well.
Well the verification picture looks radically different anyway!

                Many thanks.
