Ignore Lists and "User is ignored message"

Currently if UserX has UserY on ignore, and UserX views a thread where UserY has posted they will see the following message instead of the post:

This message is hidden because UserY is on your ignore list.

Additionally this includes the ability to view the post etc.

Is there anyway to disable this and configure VB to not display anything that hints at the existence of the post. Having this message sort of defeats the point of the ignore system.

Not by default; you'd have to edit the (I believe) the SHOWTHREAD template to remove that code.

what useless ignore list if u can see the post lol. the solution is to empty postbit_ignore template
