Why is my site clock not correct. Always has an odd time when i post that is hours and hours off.?

Hey Tomma,

Have you checked the timezone in ACP? Do you know the timezone of the server box where your website is hosted from?

Also check usercp and fix the timezone from there also.

To change the default time zone:

vBulletin Options > Date and Time Options > Default Time Zone Offset

You can also change the time zone individually via the UserCP:

Settings and Options > Edit Options > Date and Time Options > Time Zone

I've often wondered why vBulletin doesn't display the time relative to the timezone of the user visiting the site, in much the same way as Vista does when synching the clock for the computer, thereby eliminating a continual struggle with the correct setting of timezones and daylight saving modes by vbulletin owners, and frustrated visitors who are no doubt seeing strange times for posts made!

vB does display the corret time when the correct settings are applied.
