Multi-quotes is enabled and set to 10 max yet the multi quote button is not appearing?

When I use a default template it seems to work.
Is there a way when upgrading from 3.5 to 3.6.8 to rebuild your custom style to include all the new features so you don't have to redo your entire style again. -
