i have version 5.0.45 now

should i upgrade to 5.1.22 or just keep 5.0.45 . if u upgrade version does in increase the database performance

We will not support 5.1.22 until it is a Generally Available version. Currently it is still of RC status. I recommend that you stay with 5.0.XX until we state that we support 5.1.X outright.
