    (Search Forums)

    Is there a way ;

    If a none Premium member uses the search engine (Search Forums) is it possible that they could see the posts on the Premium section but can’t see the thread unless they are member and becomes a Premium member?

    As of now a none Premium member can’t see if there is a post on the Premium section

    If your permissions are set correctly and you have not installed any add-ons that affect this, each user will only see what they have permission to see.

      understood is this possible an could you please show me how to do it.

      Or would it be easier to invest 60 bucks to ask a person on line.

      Thank you

        Check the overall Usergroup permissions:

        Admin CP -> Usergroups -> Usergroup Manager -> Edit Usergroup

        And the Forum permissions for each forum and Usergroup:

        Admin CP -> Forums & Moderators -> Forum Permissions

        Main Usergroup Permissions take precedence unless you override them with specific Forum/Usergroup permissions.

        When multiple usergroups are involved, a 'Yes' permission always overides a 'No' permission if 'Allow Users to have Member Groups ' is set to 'Yes' for the Primary group. Same goes for a larger quota.

        Note, the primary group must have 'Allow Users to have Member Groups' to 'Yes'. Otherwise the secondary settings are not applicable.

          Huh say what?

          So once again is it possible for this request;

          Is there a way ;

          If a "none Premium member" uses the search engine (Search Forums) is it possible that they could see the posts on the Premium section but can’t see the threads nor post anything unless they becomes a Premium member?

            There is no way for anyone to see any threads they do not have permission to view with the default vB code.
