    Forum metrics

Would like to know how you get your forum management metrics beyond what is found in "Statistics and Logs" in vBulletin Admin. Are there tools, programs, plugins, or other ways to keep track of what you feel is important in tracking growth in your community ... such as total number of people using the forum per day, where are people coming from by URL, what is the length of the average visit, how many people used which sections per day, and so on? What numbers do you find important, and why, how do you get them, and where do you analyze them, in Excel, a special program for this, what? Thanks! I believe that you can't manage what you can't measure. Your help identifying what helps you manage your forum and what tools you use would be greatly appreciated.

I find the best way to track these information is actually to use a third party stats analysing tools. Things like Google's Analytics are really helpful when it comes to monitoring how long people stays on your site, where they come from, and things of that nature. Please note though, that we cannot provide support for third party tools, so if you encounter problems with it, you will need to actually get in touch with them to sort out the issue.
    Best Regards,
