Message post subject content options?

I'm running two different v3.6.4 vBulletin installations. One shows:

Re: <previous subject text>

..in each response to a higher up post in the thread.

The other shows the first sentence of the message being responded to.

How can I choose which mode to use? I can't seem to find this anywhere?

The only option is at:

vBulletin Options -> Message Posting and Editing Options -> Automatically Quote Post / Thread Title

It allows you to pull the post title from the post you are replying to. There isn't an option to include the first line of the post. Either that is being done manually or an addon has changed the behavior of this function.
