    Upgrade / images folder

Just a quick question as to 'why' the images folder is not to be uploaded for upgrading? What will we lose by replacing the folder entirely?

This could be because you have custom images.

I always do it like this.

Upload all the vBulletin files, except the images/ folder, and overwrite the files already on the server.

Then I upload the images/ folder, skipping all the files already on the server.

This way it uploads the new files, but won't replace the existing ones.

Is there any new images between 3.6.0 to the latest release?

The are a few, most notably for RTL Language Support.. You can compare the images directory in the newest release with what you have in your existing installation.
