Question about the CSS that vBulletin uses?

I understand how CSS defines the particular Style being used in vBulletin. The CSS content is embedded in each page called on my vb forum. My question is - how do I send this CSS info to an external .css file that can be called upon instead?

And if this is setup, can you still make the easy CSS changes within your Styles and Templates via the backend?

I am running 3.6.7 if it matter, thanks in advance.

Admin Control Panel > vBulletin Options > vBulletin Options > Here you can set in the style options to store the .css as a file instead. You have to chmod 777 the vbulletin_css dir inside the clientscripts directory.

-> Style & Language Settings -> Store CSS Stylesheets as Files?

Incase the member does not know where the 'style option' is located.
