How to NOT show view count in announcements postings?

IS it possible to not show view count of announcements postings?
IE, replace view count with ( - )

IF so, would much appreciate instructions.

This is not an option in vBulletin to set 'Announcement Views' off, for more custom stylings visit vBulletin.org. Design and Graphics Discussions

# find in template: threadbit_announcement
# delete or replace with '-'
$announcement[views]

Yes, but you did not ask per user/usergroup.. I was wondering if you add additional <if><else /> will it add more queries to page(s) it is seen on?

I have to read up on about conditional statements.

I do not need view count of announcement listings to show for any usergroups

Now that you mention this I will need to check with my partner with the other request - not show thread view count as per forum, because I don't need the view count to be viewable by any usergroup there either.

Thank you for you suggestion - that did the trick!
I deleted :

$vbphrase[views]: <strong>$announcement[views]</strong>

from the threadbit_announcement template.

I am running 3. something.. and i want to remove the view count from all of the forum layers. I don't want view count on or the column even to exist. is that possible?
