Back up problems

Having an issue trying to backup my board. Last week someone got into my host account and deleted the database, had to pay to get it back and the host wouldn't give me an ip of the attacker, but since the restore, the backup won't complete. It gets to vbposthash and quits. Of course they don't support ssh/telnet, so what are my options? I downloaded a backup to my computer and uploaded it to my new host, but they said it was corrupt? Any ideas?

I believe you have the right to insist that they give you a complete backup. If not, then I'm afraid you are out of luck unless you have backups of your own.
