    Php5

    Hello,

My host has PHP 4.4.4 as the default installation. However, they also have PHP 5.2.0 as well, however cPanel reports the default version, and in order for scripts to use PHP 5, they must use the .php5 extension.

My question is would my vBulletin board benefit at all from PHP5, or does it not matter at all? If I wanted to use it, I'd have to download vBulletin with the .php5 extension and upload it.

    What do you guys think?

If you have an existing site, then I don't recommend changing your file extension. Using PHP 4.4.4 is fine for vBulletin 3.6.5

      Alright, just curious.

      Thanks for the quick response.
