Not show photos to unregistered users

Hi,

I am going nuts with this but I assume it is very easy.

I do not want to allow unregistered users to view attachments/photos.

My best guess was:

Usergroup -> manage usergroup -> Unregistered / Not Logged In -> edit

I went in there and turned off everything including Can Download Attachments.

I can get the thumbnail to go away but they can still click the link and see the picture.

What am I missing?

When an Unregistered / Not Logged person clicks on a photo I would like the "You need to login or register" page to pop up.

Your help would be greatly appreciated.

That should stop them from seeing attachments, assuming your permissions are correct in the Usergroup and Forum/Usergroup settings, and also assuming you have not installed any add-ons.

Also make sure these really are attachments and not [IMG] code pics.
