How do I create a "user agreement"?

How do I create and make new registrars have to "sign" a user agreement as part of the registration process? Does this happen automatically?

Thank you.

There is an [agree] checkbox with forum rules they agree to prior to completing registration.

You can change this phrase (that text) via the phrase editor.

Admin Control Panel > Languages & Phrases > Search in Phrases

Search for the text you wish to replace, and then edit it in the english text area.

Once changed new members will see the updated forum rules, and have to agree to this agreement.

Search by text "forum rules" in all phrase types.
You need to edit forum_rules_description

Hi Guru's

In the above is the register page which I can edit.

Q: What is the right procedure (text) for putting in a link eg: TERMS AND CONDITTIONS into that text, that opens in a new window.

What I'm trying to do here is when you register it also says that you agree by the TERMS AND CONDITIONS (that bit will be the link) so new users can click on that bit and read all the t & C.

Thanks

You can add TERMS AND CONDITIONS to bold the selected url link to make it more noticeable.

Code:
TERMS AND CONDITIONS
