Add Moderators

How would you change a user to a mod? How do you give them permission to edit others messages and perform other task that regular users can't?

If you would like them to be able to do those things in every section of your site, place them in the 'Super Moderators' usergroup, if you would like them to be able to do that in limited sections, you will have to manually add them as a moderator to each forum. You can do this by going to

Admin CP> Forums and Moderators>Forum Manager

Here, look for the right hand column besides every forum that says 'Moderators' and from the drop down boxes choose 'Add Moderator' - then input the username and permissions here.
