    Best way to backup everything?

What's the best way to backup everything incase something happens?
Can someone point me to the thread, I searched and couldn't find anything too specific.
When I back up, do I have to do the top one, with the "GO", and the save to a directory or are they the same thing?

Depending on the size of your database, you can use the backup function in the AdminCP, although it is not recommended to use this unless your database is only small. Once your database starts getting bigger, you should backup using SSH/Telnet to ensure that your backup is successful and complete. Instructions on doing this can be found here:

It is also a good idea to take a backup of your files every time you change something with your files. This is simply done through FTP and downloading a copy of your forum directory (or even your whole site) to a folder on your computer.
